I have grown progressively frustrated with fingerprints on front surface mirrors, mirrors out of alignment,
replacing bulbs, washed out or dirty projection lenses, slides or screens. I have been looking for a cost
effective solution to replace my projectors, and with 13 lanes, I have been less than enthusiastic to jump
right in.
Finally, I have assembled a viable alternative to the 100 year old projector to evaluate visual acuity.
The software is easy to learn and has many functions, and offers the opportunity for customization.
I have found that there is no perfect solution and all systems have limitations.
The staff loves the new computer system, the patients enjoy the high tech approach and if the paperless
scene becomes viable, I will already have computers in my rooms, although I do not recommend using the
systems for other uses as the more software that is added, the greater opportunity for viruses and conflicts
and crashes! As configured the system is stable and should provide you with years of worry free operation.
Special thanks to the creator of the program.
